History
Greaves Sports has been established in Glasgow since the early 1960's. It is a family business that started back in 1930 as the Clydesdale Rubber Company. We are now a fourth generation business. In its time, Greaves Sports has seen 11 Olympic games, 11 World Cups, and 20 Ryder Cups come and go. The company has been around longer than any other sports retailer in Scotland, and most sports retailers throughout the world.
We have 3 stores in Glasgow, 2 operating under the Greaves brand, and a Nike shop in Buchanan Galleries, Glasgow's leading shopping centre.
We pride ourselves on our customer service. This, coupled with the technical knowledge of our staff and the width and depth of the products we offer, is the key reason why our reputation as a leading sports retailer now extends far beyond Glasgow, Scotland and the UK. Greaves appeal stretches around the world and, for as long as we can remember, we have regularly taken orders from people living in mainland Europe or the USA because they just can't get what they're looking for in their own high street, and with every sport catered for at Greaves, with the exception of hunting, fishing and shooting, you can understand why.
